WELCOME TO WEST BENGAL SILAMBAM ASSOCIATION
We are entered in AISF under the guidance of our beloved shri silvaraj sir, and learned the beautiful art of Silambam martial arts. During these years of Silambam we are travelled to various parts of the India for the training camp & tournaments. We have established a West Bengal Silambam Association. Through which we are providing self-defence training to boys and girls of deferent Areas. So, far our association has more than 200 members. Silambam is now very important for girls/boys & kids as the surrounding around us is getting dangerous day by day, so basic knowledge of self-defence has become a necessity for all individual. Also, silambam helps us to stay fit mentally as well as physically and gives us immense self-confidence fight all adds in our life. West Bengal Silambam Asociation is affiliated to All India Silambam Federation (AISF), All India Silambam Federation (AISF) is the only National Federation for Silambam Sports in India duly affiliated with World Silambam Federation (WSF), Asian Silambam Federation (ASF), and South Asian Silambam Federation (SASF). AISF is also recognised by School Games Federation of India –SGFI on 2014. AISF has 26 State / Province Members all over India along as a Corporate Members. All India Silambam Federation (AISF) is a strong full affiliated Founding member of World Silambam Federation (WSF).
That “All India Silambam Federation” is a statutory body duly registered under the provisions of The We have taken effort to develop the sport of Silambam all over India and overseas. Therefore, several countries, States have joined hands with the All India Silambam Federation. The “All India Silambam Federation” more than 26 States are the affiliated members of our All India Silambam Federation. We are conducting State and National Championships and also participating South Asia, Asian and World Championship for the sport of Silambam periodically. We also maintain proper and audited accounts the same can be verified in our official website. That All India Silambam Federation taking into account our sincere effort to develop the sport of Silambam, The School Games Federation of India, had recognized the sport of Silambam as one the discipline at the National level SGFI and conducted National Games Championship. The All India Silambam Federation has provided the Technical support to conduct the above competitions.
